This wedding reminded me again exactly why I do this.

Michi and Naomi chose my favourite place in the world, Bartholomeusklip, to celebrate with the people they love most. There was no pressure to create a spectacle. Instead, every decision centred around bringing friends and family together, wrapped in a timeless, understated aesthetic that never tried too hard.

These are the weddings that make my heart smile.

Every laugh around the table, every embrace, every conversation that spilled into the next became part of the story. Beautiful details quietly complemented what mattered most: people celebrating people.

A huge thank you to the incredible team who brought it all together. Blankcanvas Events & Design curated the day with effortless elegance, Corlé Barnard created Naomi's naturally beautiful hair and makeup, Alana van Heerden Bridal designed a breathtaking gown, and Tilted Tulip filled every space with thoughtful, organic florals.

Bartholomeusklip continues to be one of the most magical places to celebrate love, and Michi and Naomi reminded me that the best weddings aren't just beautiful to look at. They're unforgettable because of how they feel.
